Summer Disney World VISA Discount Released!

Travel Dates: June 16 – August 27, 2015

Walt Disney World has released a special discount for Disney VISA cardholders only where you can save up to 30% off of your room only reservation at select Walt Disney World resorts during the travel dates listed above.

Percentage Savings:

• Save 30% at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts, Boardwalk Inn, Animal Kingdom Lodge (standard and pool view rooms only), Wilderness Lodge, Saratoga Springs, Old Key West, Boardwalk Villas, Polynesian Village, Contemporary and Grand Floridian.
• Save 25% at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, Caribbean Beach Resort, Port Orleans Resort – Riverside and the cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness
• Save 20% at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge (savanna view and club level rooms only), Animal Kingdom Villas, Beach Club Villas, Villas at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort, All-Star Music Resort, Disney’s All-Star Art of Animation Resort (Family Suite Rooms only) and Disney’s Pop Century Resort.

This offer must be booked by June 12, 2015. Weekends may be discounted less at some moderate and value resort.

Guests can book either a room only reservation or a package reservation including tickets and dining plans, though only the room portion of the package will be discounted. The dining plans will be at full rate. Availability is extremely limited.

It appears that all suites, campsites and 3 bedroom villas have been excluded from this offer, as are the Little Mermaid rooms at the new Art of Animation Resort, All-Star Movies Resort, Port Orleans French Quarter, Disney’s Polynesian Village Villas, Disney’s Bay Lake Villas and the new Villas at the Grand Floridian Resort.

At this point, a Disney VISA is required to book this discount. You must pay your deposit at the time of booking with a Disney VISA card. I expect this discount to be released to the general public on Monday, March 23, 2015.

Disney World Spring & early Summer 2015 Discount!

Travel Dates: March 2 – June 15, 2015

Walt Disney World has released a special discount where you can save up to 35% off of your room only reservation at select Walt Disney World resorts during the travel dates listed above. Please note there was a second discount released today, a Kid-Sized Package discount that Disney is advertising trips from $889 for a family of three. These two discounts are identical, the Kid-Sized Package is just using this room only discount.

The savings below are for travel from April 6 – June 15, 2015. Earlier travel is discounted less at most resorts. The savings below are also only available if you book before February 16, 2015. While the discount is available until March 28, 2015, the savings will be larger if you book before February 16, 2015.

This discount was released a few days ago for Disney VISA cardholders only, but is now available to everyone to book, there is no longer a Disney VISA requirement.

2015 Walt Disney World Disney VISA Play, Stay, Dine and Save

Travel dates: December 14 – 20, 2014 Jan 5 – March 7, 2015

Walt Disney World has released two discounts today, this Play, Stay, Dine and Save offer, and a second room only offer.  Currently, both offers are available to Disney VISA cardholders only. This offer will be made available to everyone, no Disney VISA requirement, on Thursday, October 9, 2014.

Please note, this is NOT free dining, kids stay and play free or any other offer. There doesn’t appear to be anything included for free, just a percentage discount on the package.

Discount Requirements

• Minimum 3 night stay
• Maximum 14 night stay
• Minimum 2 day park pass must be included in the package
• Dining Plan must be included in the package
• Guests staying at a Walt Disney World value resort must purchase the Quick Service dining plan or better
• Guests staying at a Walt Disney World moderate, deluxe or deluxe villa resort must purchase the Disney Dining plan or better

It appears that all suites, campsites and 3 bedroom villas have been excluded from this offer, as are the Little Mermaid rooms at the new Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Polynesian Village Villas, Disney’s Bay Lake Villas and the new Villas at the Grand Floridian Resort.

This offer must be booked by December 29, 2014. Not all nights or resorts may be available. At this point, it does not appear that any nights have been blacked out, but many nights around the Walt Disney World Marathon and President’s Day Weekend may be difficult to find. Availability is extremely limited, act quickly for best availability. Please note that you must check in by March 5, 2014 in order to qualify for the discount. If you check in March 5 or earlier, you should receive the discount for your entire stay, based on availability.

Again, this offer will be made available to everyone starting on October 9, 2014.
